Beyond Imagination

This fine arts catalogue of Tasmanian artists’ work was put together for the Sculpture Objects Functional Art (SOFA) exhibition in Chicago. The catalogue design emphasises the remoteness and exotic nature of Tasmania to American buyers by juxtaposing the works with Tasmanian landscapes, and showing them in the process of being packed up for their long journey. The cover combines a ceramic version of the thylacine with a ghostly varnished image of another thylacine, at that time the Tasmanian Government’s identity. This project represented a wonderful opportunity to work with the products of Tasmania’s leading arts practitioners.
